Guest Post Guidelines

  • Make sure your submission has not been previously published or posted elsewhere and it’s completely authentic. If your submission has already been published or posted elsewhere, you must not attempt to reuse it. By submitting, you give consent that you won’t publish the post in your own blog or as a guest post in other blogs in future.
    • To summarize, posts must be unique, brand new content, and may not be published elsewhere.
  • Your submissions should be in the range of 400-750 words and the maximum word limit should be 900.
  • The post must be written on a relevant money-related topic, keeping in mind the specific theme of A Matter of Money.
  • Your submissions must be edited for spelling and proper grammatical usage.
  • Please exercise the use of placing a key word/key word phrase correctly throughout the article (in title, first paragraph, headings and naturally throughout the article) if you are knowledgeable in this technique. If you do so, please identify your key word in the email with your submission.
  • Please use bullet points and/or numbered lists to break up the post and make it interesting. These are the most popular and most useful nowadays. Bullet points and numbered lists ensure the article is to-the-point, cohesive, easy to read, and highlights the significant areas.
  • You may use bold type to draw out important points (not all caps).
  • No need to include any photos for your post as editorial takes care of that.
  • Please make sure the article does not carry any affiliate codes or referral links as they are strictly not allowed in our guest posts. Links to a related article are OK, but will be published at the editor’s discretion.
  • If you like, you are welcome to include a short bio (no more than 3-4 sentences) with link to your blog, if you have one. This will be placed beneath the article.
  • Please share about your post the day it goes live, on your blog, and any social media with a link back to your post on A Matter of Money. Please do not copy/paste any text from your post when you share it, rather write a unique teaser with a link to your post. This is very important for SEO purposes.
  • We have the right to edit your work to meet our editorial standards. Standards are set on the basis of brevity, grammar, readability, and sometimes for vocabulary. If your article requires thorough cleanups to meet the quality standards, the write up may not get published.
  • Posts submitted are not guaranteed to be published. You will hear back from us either way.
